Take a look at the upcoming sessions for the Early Careers Support Group
The Early Careers Group is a self-organised group that is facilitated by the council’s budding professionals and run for budding professionals.
Last week the group enjoyed their first re-launch event, which included an introduction from Learning and Development. At the event colleagues learnt more about the group and how it can help them with the professional development of their careers.
The peer group is a friendly and accessible environment for anyone who:
- Is in the early stages of their career
- Feels they would benefit from networking with other employees from the network
- Wants to form connections with others around the Council
Offering opportunities for professional development through:
- Networking and socialising events
- Workshops
- Shadowing opportunities
Upcoming sessions
Over the next couple of months the group will be running the following events:
- Stephen Moir Careers Talk – Tuesday 28th March 2023 – 3:30-5pm – NSH Goldfinch Room and on Teams
- Member Q&A – Tuesday 25th April 2023 – 4-5pm – NSH Starling Room and on Teams
